In the village and beyond

Still sick. I took off work today, but still feel pretty ill. I go to the opera tomorrow. Maybe I'll take off work again tomorrow to be well.
Oh! I just got news today that GE has offered me a Communications Leadership Development internship in the GE Corporate headquarters in Fairfield, CT! I will be in an organizational communications/PR role. I will be rubbing elbows with Jeff Immelt, the CEO of all of GE!
AND they are paying for me to live in Norwalk so I wouldn't have to commute so far! Sweet! This will be a very exciting summer, though in return for such a high profile job they say it's about a 50 hour work week. Damn.
