Well, after a good run of 2.5 years on MacDougal, I'm making the jump to Brooklyn Heights! I can't really believe the day has come, but I've come to an age when actually having walking space and not having to fight off drunk NYU kids is quite attractive. Charles and I have signed our lease this week for a gorgeous, newly renovated 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment on Clark St. in Brooklyn Heights. Here is a draft of the floor plan. (my new favorite abbreviation has since become WIC- walk in closet!!!)
The neighborhood is great with street names such as Pineapple St, Orange St, Cranberry St, and Love Lane. It's close to many train lines, grocery stores, coffee shops, is right off the Brooklyn Bridge, and is close to Charles' beloved Barclay's Center home of the Brooklyn Nets. Plus, there's a vegan Chinese place around the corner from us, so really what more could we need?
We move in on Friday. I hate moving, but this will be so worth it. I'll post some pics once we actually get settled in!
