Hi all,

Well looks like I will be moving with the help of Celeste and Jeff this Friday. I'll be glad to settle somewhere for a while finally!

Hi bloggers! I have found an apartment in the city finally. It is perfect for my purposes. I will be in the heart of manhattan in the safest of places- right across the street from Lord and Taylor's on 5th ave! Coincidence? Will blog later.

Hi all!

Sorry I haven't posted in a while, but I got home safely on Saturday evening. We went to Betucci's for my favourite pizza and then I crashed out to sleep.

I still feel a bit jetlagged because I can't stay up past 10pm and I wake up at the break of dawn.

I go into nyc tomorrow until friday to view a couple of apartments. It's either Harlem or near Grand Central at this point. Hope I find something and soon!

Here's a sign about the grass rule.

Inside King's college, another college in Cambridge university.

Cambridge open air market. Had some fun foods and stalls open mondays - saturdays.

A cool fountain in the middle.

More views of the inside. Walking on the grass is a huge deal and nobody but senior graduate level fellows and above are allowed to walk on it. There are porters who wear bowler hats to make sure nobody else walks on it.

Here is a pic of the inside grounds of Trinity College. This building is the Great Hall or the dining hall. The inside was set up like the one in Harry Potter but alas I couldn't take any pics. Chris brought us in there to eat lunch on our last day.

Here is a better pic of punters in the river

The main river is called the Cam and students/tourists rent out little boats and "punt" along the Cam, which is just rowing with a long stick.

James and I went to Cambridge this weekend and stayed with his little brother Chris who goes there studying math. We caught an odd weekend that was actually sunny. The town was beautiful and the college buildings and grounds were way cool.

Here is the fancy pub that my coworkers took me to on my second to last day at work. They served tapas which was really good.

Hi bloggers!

Tomorrow is my last day at work. yaaay! We went to a nice pub for lunch because lots of people work from home on Fridays.

This weekend James and I are going to Cambridge to visit his little brother who attends college there. Will have pics when I come back!

Hi everyone,

Well it is Sunday morning around 11 and right about now the crew is getting into a hired van to take them to Heathrow. Yesterday spent in Canterbury went very well. Some of us went to the cathedral, then went to a restaurant for tea. Then we went to James' grandma's house for a greasy dinner of fish and chips (the best ones I've had in England!)

I will miss everyone now that I have to work tomorrow, but I woke up with a small fever and runny nose. Looks like I ran myself ragged and will need time to rest!

and thus ends our trip to Bath. On the way back our bus got a flat tire so we were stuck by the side of the road for 3 hours until someone came to fix it. we got back late then went out for chinese food. I am tired now but will have to get up tomorrow for Westminster Abbey. Ug!

A hot spring. Very cool.

A church in Bath.

Then we went to the town of Bath named after the Roman baths made around natural springs. Here is one that was still steaming.

This was the pub sign from the outside.

Mom ordering a pub lunch.

More pretty views.

Then we went to a village in the Cotswolds called castle coombes. It was the most quaint little English village with a cute pub where we ate lunch. I had a duck and cherry pie with chips. SO YUMMY!

We got to see the changing of the guard inside the castle walls complete with marching band.

The day started with Windsor castle. We got to see the inside house where the queen lives. was beautiful!
